[Remote] Lead SW Engineer

Expert Executive Recruiters (EER Global) is a fast-growing product company developing an AI-driven platform aimed at enhancing operational efficiency for large organizations. They are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to take full end-to-end ownership of a new platform segment, focusing on building scalable backend systems and ensuring high performance and reliability in a cloud-native environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of development, from design to production, in a cloud-native, hybrid platform environment
• Design and build scalable backend systems and services
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code in Go (primary language) and TypeScript
• Take part in architecture and design discussions and help shape technical decisions
• Propose and implement improvements to product functionality and system performance
• Work closely with other engineers and mentor junior team members when needed

Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Go (Golang) in production-grade software systems
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure and services
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, Kubernetes, Docker, and monitoring tools from a developer perspective
• Strong focus on testing and reliability, including automated testing and production monitoring to ensure system stability and team efficiency
• Experience participating in architecture discussions and decisions
