[Remote] Commercial Account Representative

As a Commercial Account Representative, you will be a key contributor to Illumio's commercial sales growth, building relationships with mid-market clients and exceeding sales quotas while driving strategic initiatives aligned with the company's cybersecurity mission.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for an assigned territory
  • Develop and execute a territory plan with a target prospect list and regional sales strategy
  • Build and nurture an ecosystem of partner sellers and SEs who are excited about Illumio and actively selling with you
  • Partner with marketing and inside sales teams to generate pipeline and qualify opportunities
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospects and partners
  • Lead ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer business needs and aligning Illumio’s solutions to their IT roadmap

Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in a Commercial Account Executive or equivalent role within the IT industry
  • Deliver compelling 'teaching conversations' that are well tailored to each prospect's situation
  • Able to engage with urgency and capitalizing on all potential channels to sell Illumio
  • Proven success in exceeding revenue goals and new customer acquisition
  • Experience selling with partners and managing a network of partner sellers
  • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity market and Zero Trust principles
  • Executive-level relationship management and CRM hygiene
  • Ability to work in a matrixed support organization using virtual specialists
  • Willingness to travel 20–50% depending on business needs
  • Successful track record of successful selling to the C-suite (all lines of business) with a strong rolodex of contacts in region
  • Experience in a fast-paced company with the ability to adapt as needed
