[Remote] Senior Marketing Data Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Insight Global is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support an internal marketing team focused on owned (non-paid) channels. This role will drive data-informed decision-making through experimentation, user behavior analysis, and personalization strategies to improve engagement, retention, and monetization.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of data science solutions for marketing use cases such as user segmentation, churn analysis, and targeting strategies
• Design and execute high-volume A/B tests to evaluate messaging and campaign effectiveness
• Analyze large datasets using SQL and Python to assess causal impact of marketing efforts on user behavior
• Develop and refine personalization and recommendation strategies for user communication
• Identify and account for confounding variables and data assumptions when evaluating performance
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and successful implementation of experiments
• Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Support ongoing optimization of marketing strategies through continuous testing and iteration

Skills

• 5–7 years of experience in data science, analytics, or marketing science
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL for independent data extraction and manipulation
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and statistical modeling
• Proven experience with A/B testing and experimentation (core responsibility)
• Background in marketing analytics, growth analytics, or user behavior analysis
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and experiment design
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and build solutions from scratch
• Experience with paid media analytics or campaign performance measurement
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code)
• Experience in consumer-facing tech environments
