[Remote] Sales Development Representative

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rhythm Innovations is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Development Representative to sell and service solutions for clients in the insurance and transportation industries. This role focuses on building long-term client relationships and supporting the sales process from lead generation through onboarding and account support.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing partners and customers
  • Prospect new clients (owner-operators, small fleets, logistics companies) through networking, referrals, and outbound sales
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing trucking fleet clients
  • Educate clients on risk management strategies
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and customer communications
  • Conduct product and service demonstrations for prospects and clients
  • Support senior sales team members in achieving revenue and growth objectives
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within CRM systems
  • Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and company offerings
  • Meet or exceed sales and revenue goals set by the agency company
  • Provide ongoing service including renewals, endorsements, and account updates

Skills

  • Must be located in Ft Lauderdale/Miami area
  • 2 to 3+ years of sales, SaaS, or business development experience
  • 1–3+ years of experience in freight brokerage or commercial auto or transportation insurance is a must
  • Excellent communication, sales, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build relationships and manage multiple accounts
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in a sales environment
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with FMCSA/DOT regulations
  • Understanding of commercial auto underwriting
  • Experience with telematics, ELD, dashcam, or fleet safety solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Experience selling through channel partners or referral partners is preferred
