[Remote] Software Sales Engineer

They are seeking a customer-facing Software Sales Engineer to support the sales process through technical discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead during customer sales engagements
- Gather requirements and recommend software solutions that align with business needs
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept deployments
- Design solution architectures and support RFPs, proposals, and statements of work
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to drive successful customer outcomes
- Provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle
Skills
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder to qualify
- 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical software sales
- Experience with networking software, IT infrastructure, or network management platforms
- Familiarity with technologies such as IP/MPLS, SNMP, REST APIs, NetConf/YANG, or optical networking
- Strong presentation, communication, and customer-facing skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to support customer presentations and technical evaluations
