[Remote] Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TPI Global Solutions is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer who will be responsible for writing automation test scripts and contributing to the existing framework. The role involves executing tests, analyzing results, and providing leadership in testing projects while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expert understanding of all of the components and functionality of the system and framework
• Demonstrates foundational knowledge of credit card operations, banking, financial, loyalty rewards, and credit card regulatory while working with various areas of the business
• Demonstrate ownership by driving the automated testing of projects and collaborate with stakeholders in understanding the testing needs and reporting on testing results
• Knowledge in Cloud based APIs and Applications, Mainframe application testing using SOAP UI

Skills

• Write automation test scripts using an object-oriented Ruby Cucumber/Cypress framework for multiple applications like web based, web services and database
• Contribute to extending the existing framework
• Execute tests as needed throughout projects, analyze and report test results
• Identify and track defects through their lifecycle
• Utilize defect management and organization skills, provide progress and metrics on test execution and defects to project team
• Provide leadership while contributing to team and company objectives
• Follow team and company standards and contribute to refine and improve process and procedure, while defining and maintaining test data
• Experience working in Jira and Confluence is a must
