[Remote] Analyst I-GIS

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Uniti is a premier provider of multi-gigabit fiber internet and related services. The Analyst I-GIS role involves maintaining and supporting the fiber and copper network using Esri applications to solve geospatial problems and provide visualizations for decision-making, as well as training end users on these applications.

Responsibilities

• Produce and modify interactive Webmaps using Esri ArcGIS Portal
• Create static maps in a variety of formats using ArcGIS Pro
• Perform spatial analytics and reporting of GIS records for multiple departments
• Provide support and training for ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Portal Webmaps
• Create and modify web services to be consumed within ArcGIS Portal
• Assist in Uniti's GIS data migration

Skills

• 1-2 years of GIS experience preferably using Esri products
• Experience in map creation and cartography principles
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multi task and handle several ongoing projects
• Basic telecommunications technical knowledge
• Ability to train peers
• Excellent problem solving abilities
• Highly organized and strict attention to details
• College degree and 0-3 years professional level experience or 4+ years professional level related experience or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required
• 1-2 years of telecom experience
• 1-2 years of ArcGIS Enterprise experience
• GISP or Esri Technical Certification
• Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field
