[Remote] Content & Social Search Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Stella Rising is a leading marketing and media agency for high-growth consumer brands. They are seeking a Content & Social Search Specialist to advance their content marketing practice by managing content strategy, improving processes, and optimizing social content for discoverability.
Responsibilities
- Support content strategy for a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring goals are met through effective planning and execution
- Develop content strategies that align with client business objectives and drive measurable results
- Guide content from ideation through production, approval, distribution, measurement, and ongoing optimization
- Collaborate with writers, SMEs, designers, developers, and marketing stakeholders to deliver cohesive content programs
- Ensure content meets quality standards and aligns with brand voice, tone, and guidelines
- Execute keyword research, content planning, and SEO optimization
- Create content briefs that include keyword targeting, competitor insights, and internal linking recommendations
- Edit and optimize content from writers, content creators, and subject matter experts
- Identify opportunities to refresh or improve existing content to increase organic traffic and engagement
- Identify social search queries, trends, and high-intent behavior relevant to client industries and goals
- Audit existing social content (e.g., TikTok videos, YouTube videos, social posts) to identify opportunities for improved search visibility based on platform-specific ranking factors
- Optimize metadata for social platforms, including captions, keywords, tags, hashtags, descriptions, titles, sounds, and text overlays, to increase organic discoverability
- Develop platform-specific optimization frameworks that help content surface for targeted search queries within social apps
- Partner with client content and social teams to develop and implement strategies that improve ranking potential without requiring the creation of new assets
- Monitor organic search rankings and visibility and provide performance insights and actionable recommendations
- Stay current with platform algorithm updates, social search behaviors, and trending keywords within short-form and video-first ecosystems
- Build and present performance reporting that tells a clear story of what’s working, what’s not, and what to do next
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure content success
- Use analytics and performance data to inform future strategy and optimization decisions
- Develop, refine, and document SOPs to improve content strategy and production workflows
- Create new SOPs and deliverables as client needs and industry trends evolve
- Train newer team members on processes, best practices, and strategy execution
- Provide guidance and support that contributes to junior team member growth
- Stay up to date on SEO, content marketing, UX, and emerging technologies
- Integrate basic UX principles into content strategy to improve user experience and engagement
Skills
- 3–4 years of experience in content marketing and/or SEO (preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs for client accounts
- Strong writing and editing skills (writing samples required)
- Hands-on experience with keyword research tools and optimization best practices
- Deep understanding of platform-specific search behaviors on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and other social discovery tools
- Experience optimizing content for social search (e.g., TikTok SEO, YouTube SEO), including metadata, keywords, hashtags, and on-video text optimization
- Ability to conduct social search keyword research using platform-native search suggestions, trend tools, and third-party social listening tools
- Strong understanding of how social algorithms rank content based on watch time, engagement velocity, relevance signals, sounds, and audience behavior
- Familiarity with analyzing performance through TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio, and other platform dashboards to identify optimization opportunities
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with confidence presenting work to clients and internal stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred
- Basic understanding of UX principles and how they influence content performance
