Why This Role Matters

As a Senior Financial Accounting Analyst within arenaflex’s Controllership group, you will be the guardian of corporate bookkeeping excellence. You will partner directly with the Manager of Financial Accounting and collaborate with senior leaders across Finance, Legal, and Operations to drive accurate month‑end close, intercompany reconciliations, and related‑party transaction oversight. Your expertise will help ensure that arenaflex’s financial statements are reliable, compliant, and ready for strategic decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

• Month‑End Close & General Ledger Management: Lead the preparation and analysis of journal entries related to intercompany eliminations, intercompany allocations, and related‑party transactions, ensuring timely and accurate month‑end close.
• Intercompany Reconciliation: Review intercompany accounts, identify and resolve out‑of‑balance items, and coordinate with intercompany finance teams to maintain clean balances.
• Related‑Party Transaction Tracking: Monitor related‑party transactions throughout the fiscal year, perform valuation analyses, and assess compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Treasury, Legal, and other Controllership teams to gather supporting documentation and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Ad‑Hoc Projects: Work directly with the Manager of Financial Accounting – Corporate on special initiatives, process improvements, and system enhancements.
• Budget Preparation Support: Contribute to the development of arenaflex’s budget forecasts by preparing financial schedules and providing insights on intercompany activity.
• Policy Development & Documentation: Research complex accounting topics, draft accounting memoranda, and communicate changes in accounting treatment to stakeholders.
• Audit Coordination: Assist in both internal and external audit processes by preparing audit schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and presenting findings to senior leadership.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline bookkeeping processes, enhance data integrity, and leverage automation tools for greater efficiency.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or financial accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and its application to intercompany and related‑party transactions.
• Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), Word, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
