W2 Contract- Long Term Remote- Sr. SQL Developer. Only EST/CST

Sr. SQL Developer Remote Position- Only EST/CST Consultants Job Description: We have had a SQL Server Developer working at SEI Investments for past year and he decided to pursue another opportunity. We are looking to backfill. This team is picky a bit; in the sense that they need very strong SQL querying skills, advanced skills, creating SQL queries (complex) from scratch for an internal, custom built reporting system. They do not use an Enterprise Reporting Tool like Power BI or Tableau or similar. They do not do a lot of SSRS or anything. This is for a very experienced person with SQL querying (complex/advanced and authoring queries from scratch) and T-SQL. Required Skills: SQL Server - must be advanced with SQL querying and authoring SQL queries from scratch using T-SQL. Additional Skills: What we are not looking for: We are not looking for people too ETL heavy (they do no ETL in this role). We are not looking for someone who is too strong developer with lots of .Net and doing some SQL. We are not looking for Data Engineers who are moving data only. Job Description: 8 or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with the full software development life cycle, including design, testing, deployment, and documentation activities (including agile and scrum patterns) Advance SQL development skills like:

• Creating complex queries and stored procedures
• Performance tune complex queries and query optimization
• Developing Dynamic SQL and stored procedures
• Using indexes to speed up the SQL queries
• Experience in creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Extensive knowledge and hands on experience designing and developing objects and components of relational and non-relational database
• Experience with SSRS report development
• Full Text Searching
• Developing ERD – both physical and logical

Strong experience with Agile methodologies Knowledge and understanding of SDLC, with a strong preference for Agile experience Skill for writing reusable functions, views and database objects Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and listening skills Excellent collaboration/teamwork skills Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application Familiar with various design and architectural patterns Note: Candidates will be required to complete a Glider Assessment as first step in the interview process Apply To This Job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
