Financial Services Strategy and Business Development Director
Job Description:
- Designs and executes go-to-market strategy to drive revenue and gross profit growth across banking, insurance, and fintech
- Architects technology solutions addressing regulatory compliance, risk management, operational efficiency challenges, etc.
- Monitors industry trends and competitive dynamics to identify high-value business opportunities
- Defines differentiated product offerings to accelerate financial services market penetration
- Partners with Sales to qualify opportunities, develop proposals, and deepen customer engagement.
- Leads customer discovery sessions and solution demonstrations with C-suite executives and other stakeholders.
- Establishes thought leadership through content publication, conference speaking, and industry advisory participation
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in financial services
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and their business implications
- Current awareness of industry trends, competitive landscape, emerging threats, and growth opportunities across financial services verticals
- Conversant in Artificial Intelligence (AI), including experience with financial services use cases and solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines
- Proven success leading and collaborating within distributed teams while maintaining high performance and engagement
- Deep understanding of B2B sales cycles in financial services with ability to serve as trusted advisor to sales leadership and field teams
