Discover Financial Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Incident & Threat Analyst (Threat Intelligence) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and responding to emerging cyber threats, as well as managing the security of our infrastructure. You will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills to develop and implement security strategies that protect the company’s data and systems.To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field. You should have at least three years of professional experience in a similar role, as well as a thorough understanding of cyber security principles and best practices. Additionally, you should have experience with incident response, threat intelligence, and incident management. Responsibilities

Monitor cyber threats and identify malicious activity Develop and implement security strategies to protect the company’s data and systems Analyze security incidents and develop incident response plans Collaborate with other teams to monitor and respond to cyber security threats Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cyber security trends and best practices Analyze security logs and data sources to identify suspicious activity Configure and maintain security systems such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM Work closely with other teams to ensure that security standards are met Prepare reports on security incidents and threats Research security solutions and recommend new products and services Discover Financial Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
