At Zendesk, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Security Risk Analyst to join our Security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies and processes to protect our digital assets and proactively identify, assess, and mitigate security risks.The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in security risk analysis and data protection. We look for candidates who have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions. Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices is a must.It is essential that the Security Risk Analyst is self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone with an innovative and creative mindset who can bring energy and enthusiasm to the role. Responsibilities: Develop and implement security strategies and processes to protect digital assets and identify, assess, and mitigate security risks Evaluate new security technologies and approaches for implementation Monitor and analyze security trends and threats to identify potential vulnerabilities Collaborate with IT staff to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures Perform risk assessments and recommend security solutions Provide ongoing security awareness and training to staff Respond to and investigate security incidents Prepare detailed reports on security issues and solutions Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices Research and stay up to date on the latest security trends and technologies Zendesk is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
