Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Service Excellence

  • Greet every customer with a warm, friendly demeanor, establishing a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist shoppers in locating products, answering product‑related questions, and providing recommendations that enhance their purchase experience.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction and fostering loyalty.
  • Maintain a courteous, professional, and helpful presence at the checkout counter.

Transaction Processing & Data Accuracy

  • Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to register sales, process cash, credit, and digital payments accurately.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, rain checks, and refunds in compliance with arenaflex policies.
  • Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, ensuring all monetary totals match recorded transactions.
  • Enter promotional discounts, loyalty rewards, and special offers into the system with precision.

Inventory Management & Merchandising

  • Maintain clean, organized shelves and displays, ensuring products are stocked according to planograms.
  • Execute inventory counts, monitor stock levels, and report discrepancies to the shift leader.
  • Apply FIFO (First‑In‑First‑Out) principles for perishable items, rotating stock to minimize waste.
  • Assist with the setup of seasonal displays, promotional signage, and product launches.

Compliance & Safety

  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations concerning age‑restricted items such as alcohol and tobacco.
  • Follow arenaflex loss‑prevention procedures to safeguard merchandise and reduce shrinkage.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly store environment, reporting any hazards immediately.

Team Collaboration & Continuous Learning

  • Share best practices with teammates, fostering a culture of mutual support and excellence.
  • Participate in scheduled training sessions, online modules, and on‑the‑job coaching.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Language Proficiency: Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills in English (excluding Puerto Rico locations).
  • Availability: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable using POS systems, basic computer applications, and handheld inventory devices.
