Selected professionals will apply their engineering expertise to review realistic mechanical and industrial engineering scenarios, evaluate technical requirements, prepare structured written outputs, and support accurate, evidence‑based engineering workflow tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesProfessionals in this role may contribute to:Mechanical Design & Drawing ReviewReview engineering scenarios involving 2D drawings, CAD models, dimensional requirements, GD&T, defect lists, and design documentationEvaluate mechanical drawings and design artifacts against specified dimensions, tolerances, annotations, and documented requirementsSupport structured review of CAD‑related workflows, design packages, and mechanical documentationIdentify missing information, drawing inconsistencies, tolerance issues, and expected engineering review outcomesTolerance, DFM/DFA & Manufacturing AnalysisReview tolerance stack‑ups, manufacturability assessments, assembly constraints, and manufacturing process considerationsEvaluate DFM/DFA reviews against defined checklists, process requirements, and documented design constraintsSupport structured analysis of machining, injection molding, sheet metal, additive manufacturing, or related manufacturing workflowsPrepare clear written explanations for engineering decisions based on source materials and verifiable technical criteriaBOM, ECO & Change Management SupportReview engineering change scenarios involving ECOs, BOM structures, revision control, required fields, and change documentationEvaluate BOMs against target structures, product requirements, engineering records, and defined documentation standardsSupport structured review of PLM workflows, change control materials, and product development documentationMaintain accuracy, consistency, and professional judgment across submitted workIdeal ProfileStrong candidates may have:3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, product development, design engineering, or related technical rolesExperience with one or more areas such as CAD design, GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, BOM management, ECO workflows, PLM systems, manufacturing process review, or product documentationFamiliarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, NX, CATIA, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar engineering softwareFamiliarity with PLM or engineering documentation systems such as Arena, Teamcenter, Windchill, Agile PLM, or similar platformsComfort reading and preparing mechanical engineering artifacts such as 2D drawings, CAD models, BOMs, tolerance analyses, ECOs, DFM reviews, and product documentationStrong written communication skills and ability to explain engineering reasoning clearlyAbility to follow structured instructions and produce evidence‑based workEducational BackgroundBachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, product design, systems engineering, or a related technical field is helpfulEquivalent practical experience in mechanical design, manufacturing engineering, product development, engineering change control, or technical documentation workflows is also highly relevantNice to HaveExperience with machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, additive manufacturing, assembly processes, or supplier manufacturing workflowsStrong understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack‑ups, design for manufacturing, design for assembly, and mechanical documentation standardsExperience preparing or reviewing ECOs, BOMs, CAD drawings, product specifications, manufacturing plans, or DFM/DFA reportsFamiliarity with regulated product development, supplier quality, manufacturing transfer, or new product introduction workflowsStrong attention to detail in technical documentation‑heavy engineering environmentsWhy This OpportunityApply mechanical, ind Apply To This Job
