[Remote] IS Project Manager (Healthcare)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kelly is seeking an experienced IS Project Manager to lead and deliver technology-focused projects within a healthcare environment. The role involves managing multiple concurrent projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project execution from initiation through implementation and post-deployment support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage one or more medium-sized Information Systems (IS) projects through the full project lifecycle
  • Develop project charters, project plans, schedules, and resource strategies aligned with organizational goals and strategic initiatives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence decision-making to ensure project alignment and success
  • Manage stakeholder expectations from project initiation through implementation and post-deployment support
  • Coordinate activities across business, clinical, technical, and operational teams
  • Oversee project implementation, integration, training, and adoption activities
  • Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and timelines, developing mitigation strategies as needed
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address project challenges and improve outcomes
  • Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and communications with leadership and key stakeholders
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while effectively prioritizing competing demands

Skills

  • Prior experience working in a healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated project management experience supporting healthcare IT and/or biomedical engineering initiatives
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a complex environment
  • Strong project planning, organization, and execution skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating diverse stakeholder groups
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience developing project documentation, including project charters, plans, status reports, and implementation strategies
  • Experience with healthcare technology implementations and system integrations
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Experience supporting training, change management, and user adoption initiatives
  • Familiarity with healthcare operations, clinical workflows, or biomedical engineering environments
