[Remote] Principal Data Analyst - Remote

The Principal Data Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing structured data to develop business intelligence tools, perform analyses, and present actionable insights to stakeholders. This role will involve creating data models, leveraging company data for business solutions, and communicating complex analyses effectively across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Work with Lines of Business to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
- Inform and advise the clinical operation functions with empirical analyses that drive strategy with respect to key projects
- Communicate complex analyses to Leaders across the organization effectively without getting bogged down in the details of the analysis. Present a clear story of these analyses in effective Executive presentations
- Design and create data models for data stores, data marts, ETLs (Extract, Transform, and Load), and Data Integration jobs that acquire data from various sources
- Mine and analyze data from a host of data sources to drive optimization and improvement of product development and business strategies
- Focus on conducting analysis to distinguish patterns and recognize trends, performing normalization operations, and assuring data quality
- Develop actionable insights and present recommendations for use across the company
- Use business intelligence, data visualization, query, analytic, and statistical software to build and design solutions, perform analysis, and interpret data
- Continue to adapt to changes based on emergence of business priorities, new technologies, and alternative sources of data
- Self-motivated and demonstrates an innate ability to absorb new concepts, technical frameworks, programming paradigms while employing them creatively to solve complex analytical problems
- Develop and manage project plans for delivery of large scale projects against timelines
Skills
- 5+ years of data analysis experience and report development
- Experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics or related field
- Proficiency in programming languages or data/analytical tools to extract and analyze data (e.g., SQL, SAS, Snowflake, Python, R, AWS, Tableau, Power BI)
- Proven solid presentation and communication skills
- Proven interpersonal and relationship skills necessary to work with an integrated team of customers, product managers, project managers, developers, analysts, and quality engineers
