[Remote] Software Engineer in Test -Medical QA
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Integra Connect is a value-based, precision medicine company specializing in Health IT and digital health solutions. They are seeking a Software Engineer in Test to validate data-driven products that support oncology and life sciences initiatives, focusing on testing and quality validation of data and analytics products.
Responsibilities
- Support testing and quality validation of data and analytics products used across healthcare, oncology, and life sciences environments
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for data pipelines, BI reporting, dashboards, and database-driven applications
- Validate data movement and transformation processes across Snowflake, SQL, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and related cloud/data warehouse technologies
- Create and execute automated and manual test plans to verify data accuracy, integrity, completeness, and performance
- Partner with product, engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to define test scenarios and ensure solutions meet business and regulatory expectations
- Review and test reports, dashboards, and data extracts used to support provider, payer, and life sciences use cases
- Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot data quality issues across internal and external healthcare data sources
- Contribute to release readiness by preparing test artifacts, validating release candidates, and supporting deployments across test and production environments
- Ensure data validation processes align with enterprise standards for security, recoverability, and reliability
- Work in Agile delivery models including Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid teams to support iterative development and continuous improvement
Skills
- Required experience in pharma, life sciences, oncology, clinical data, or oncology EMR/PM environments
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and data migration or modern data platform initiatives
- Strong SQL skills and experience with business intelligence and data validation tools
- Experience designing and executing automated data quality, validation, and verification processes
- Understanding of dependencies across complex healthcare and life sciences data sets and how they impact reporting and analytics
- Experience supporting testing for data integration, analytics, and reporting solutions in regulated or high-complexity environments
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders
- Exposure to healthcare data domains such as EHR, payer, lab, specialty pharmacy, or real-world data is strongly preferred
- Python experience is a plus, or willingness to learn
