[Remote] Director of Commercial Sales

They are seeking a Director of Commercial Sales to drive sales strategy and lead the sales team in expanding their market presence within enterprise sectors.
Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the commercial sector, targeting large enterprises across industries
- Team Management: Lead, mentor and manage a high-performing commercial sales team, ensuring they meet or exceed individual and team sales targets
- Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers within target enterprises to position SCATR™ as the preferred partner for data security solutions
- Sales Strategy: Define sales goals, forecasts and performance metrics while aligning the commercial sales strategy with SCATR’s overall business objectives
- Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities in emerging markets, guiding the team’s focus on sectors that can benefit from SCATR’s Data Camouflage™ technology
- Solution Selling: Lead the team in delivering a consultative, solution-based sales approach, ensuring SCATR’s technology aligns with the unique needs of each enterprise customer
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, marketing and engineering teams to ensure customer feedback is integrated into product evolution and to tailor messaging that resonates with the commercial market
- Negotiations and Contracts: Oversee contract negotiations with large enterprise clients, ensuring favorable terms and long-term partnership agreements
Skills
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the technology or cybersecurity sectors
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through enterprise sales, with experience selling complex technology solutions to large organizations
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a commercial sales team to achieve high performance and growth
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cybersecurity technologies, particularly data security, obfuscation, and Zero Trust Architecture
- Experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with C-suite executives, key decision-makers, and enterprise customers
- Ability to think strategically and align sales initiatives with broader business goals, while adapting to changing market conditions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in selling security or data-focused solutions to large enterprises across industries such as finance, healthcare, energy, and technology
- Familiarity with enterprise compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Experience with scaling sales organizations in high-growth environments
- MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus
