[Remote] Sales Account Manager

G&H is a world leader in optical designing, testing, and manufacturing, recognized for their expertise in optical systems and components. They are seeking a driven Sales Account Manager to accelerate business development for their coated optics and reticule products within the U.S. Aerospace & Defense market.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales and business development activities for coated optics and reticules into U.S.-based Aerospace and defense OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and Prime contractors
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue and expand G&H’s market share within key programs and platforms
- Manage and grow a pipeline of qualified opportunities from initial contact through to contract award
- Collaborate closely with the engineering and operations teams at G&H Moorpark to ensure alignment on customer requirements, manufacturing capabilities, and lead times
- Provide timely market intelligence and customer feedback to support product strategy and operational planning
- Represent G&H at industry trade shows, customer meetings, and program reviews
- Prepare and deliver compelling customer presentations, bids, and proposals in coordination with the commercial team
- Track sales KPIs and report regularly to the Sales Director, Aerospace & defense – US
Skills
- 10 + years in technical sales, account management, or business development within the Aerospace and/or defense sector
- Strong understanding of optical components & assemblies and their applications in defense systems
- The role requires a person who is able to both maximize value and revenue from current accounts, as well as identify and open new customers within the target area
- The role will require the successful candidate to travel >20% of their time within continental USA, visiting customers, prospects and other G&H locations
