[Remote] Audience Marketing Director

They are seeking an Audience Marketing Director to lead audience development strategy, oversee an engagement marketing team, and drive growth across healthcare education programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute enterprise-level audience engagement and growth strategies across multiple healthcare education programs
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engagement marketers, providing coaching, performance management, career development, and succession planning
  • Establish KPIs, performance benchmarks, and reporting frameworks to evaluate audience acquisition, engagement, retention, and overall program success
  • Oversee audience development strategies across email, digital channels, partnerships, paid media, and emerging engagement platforms
  • Translate audience insights, learner behavior data, and performance metrics into actionable recommendations that drive continuous improvement
  • Present strategic recommendations, business cases, and performance results to senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with medical, educational, content, product, and commercial teams to ensure audience strategies align with broader business objectives
  • Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, forecasting, and operational planning
  • Drive innovation through the adoption of AI-enabled tools, marketing automation, and data-driven decision-making processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, scalability, and operational efficiency across the engagement function
  • Contribute to organizational growth initiatives, including new program launches, partnership opportunities, and strategic planning activities

Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in audience engagement, digital marketing, growth marketing, learner engagement, healthcare communications, or related disciplines
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, including direct people management responsibilities
  • Proven track record of developing and executing audience growth strategies that consistently meet or exceed performance targets
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging audience, campaign, and engagement data to inform strategic decisions
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting performance, and balancing multiple priorities across a complex portfolio
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to operate strategically while maintaining a hands-on approach when required
  • Experience within healthcare, life sciences, medical education, health technology, digital media, or related industries strongly preferred
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and marketing technologies to improve efficiency and campaign performance is considered an asset
