[Remote] CMS Medicaid Enterprise Certification Specialist

Software Technology Inc. is seeking a CMS Medicaid Enterprise Certification Specialist to support and drive the execution of the NC Medicaid Enterprise Systems Certification Strategy across multiple projects. The role involves ensuring CMS certification readiness, compliance with federal and state requirements, and coordinating certification activities to secure enhanced federal funding.

Responsibilities

  • Support project teams in executing CMS certification activities and deliverables
  • Facilitate and coordinate certification workstream meetings
  • Maintain certification artifacts, document repositories, and evidence trackers
  • Gather, evaluate, and manage certification evidence from implemented solutions
  • Develop certification narratives and supporting documentation for ORR and CRR reviews
  • Coordinate system demonstrations for business stakeholders and CMS certification reviews
  • Monitor CMS certification policies, standards, and program updates
  • Develop and manage certification schedules and project activities
  • Prepare projects for PBA, CRR, DAP, and PDM ORR review cycles
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery of certification deliverables
  • Collaborate with MITRE, CMS, vendors, and internal teams to mitigate compliance risks and achieve certification objectives

Skills

  • 5+ years of project management experience, including managing matrixed teams and multiple concurrent projects
  • 5+ years of experience implementing information systems in a client-facing environment
  • 5+ years of experience with project tracking tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and/or MITAPulse
  • 5+ years of exceptional technical writing experience, including playbooks, manuals, and compliance documentation
  • 3+ years of healthcare industry experience, preferably in analytics, reporting, or related functions
  • 2+ years of CMS Medicaid Enterprise Certification Life Cycle experience
  • 2+ years of experience preparing for ORR, CRR, DAP, and PDM review cycles
  • 2+ years of experience managing certification evidence and compliance documentation
  • 2+ years of experience collaborating with CMS and MITRE stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage project scope, schedules, quality, change management, and financial oversight
