[Remote] Business Development Partner (Independent Contractor)

The Business Development Partner role involves identifying opportunities, building relationships with laboratory owners and facility managers, and coordinating with LabBuild's teams to develop solutions for laboratory environments.
Responsibilities
- Meeting facility managers, laboratory managers, architects, engineers, and contractors
- Identifying upcoming laboratory construction, renovation, relocation, and maintenance projects
- Introducing LabBuild's capabilities to prospective clients
- Attending industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
- Developing relationships that lead to long-term partnerships
- Helping customers navigate laboratory facility challenges
- Coordinating with LabBuild's estimating and operations teams to develop solutions
- Creating opportunities for recurring testing, certification, maintenance, and service agreements
Skills
- Experience in laboratory, scientific, construction, facilities, industrial, healthcare, higher education, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or technical markets
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
