[Remote] Principal Product Manager

They are seeking a Principal Product Manager to work on innovative projects within the Azure Networking team, focusing on enhancing cloud services and ensuring high availability and reliability in networking solutions.

Responsibilities

  • You will identify unknown or unmet customer needs within multiple feature areas. You’ll then clarify any patterns of root problems and define solution options for those feature areas
  • You will drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria for multiple feature areas
  • You’ll also identify long-term investment opportunities and engage partners to garner support for those feature areas
  • You will help define a feature set and facilitate mid-level usability reviews with customers. You’ll own the roadmap for multiple feature areas, and will collaborate with a partner team to build golden configurations and drive scenario walkthroughs
  • You will scale Product Marketing teams by helping build marketing, roll-out, and customer support plans. You’ll also promote the feature areas you worked on and present at large events
  • You will partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for complex technical needs in order to improve product development in targeted areas. You’ll also identify features to deprecate, manage customer communities, and build trust with targeted customers

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of strategic planning/product development/business analysis OR equivalent shipping service experience
  • 3+ years deep networking experience and cloud technology
  • 5 years experience in: Solving complex analytical and technical problems with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments with evolving requirements. Making pragmatic business and engineering tradeoffs to deliver measurable value. Leading customer, partner, and executive engagements
  • 4+ years of Cloud and Networking experience
  • Experience in planning and executing on complex multi cycle initiatives
