[Remote] Senior Product Manager - Appliance Experience

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. WEKA is architecting a new approach to the enterprise data stack built for the age of reasoning. The Senior Product Manager will define and manage the roadmap for WEKAPod appliances, collaborate with ecosystem partners, and drive product definition and delivery in a rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage Manageability and Serviceability subsystem roadmap for WEKAPod appliances, powered by Neuralmesh
  • Working with ecosystem partners including and not limited to vendors for various subsystems, e.g. CPU, GPU, Networking, NVMe, OS, Servers
  • Work with WEKA engineering and GTM team to drive WEKApod product definition and delivery
  • Drive definition and delivery of WEKA certified hardware systems with partners
  • Manage roadmap, packaging and pricing for WEKApod and WEKA Qualified Systems portfolio
  • Maintain keen insight into competitive landscape and engage with sales and system engineering drive customer opportunities to success

Skills

  • 7+ years of combined experience in a product management role managing Systems Software or Hardware Products
  • Ability to write detailed MRD, PRDs and technical use case specifications
  • Experience with system bus (PCIe), networking and storage concepts and technologies
  • Deep, technical understanding of enterprise storage environments, deployments and use cases
  • Thorough understanding CPU and memory subsystem architectures is expected
  • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze choices from economic and technical merits
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking ability + inquisitiveness and curiosity to challenge the status quo
  • Experience and a solid understanding of product life cycles, NPI and operational requirements
  • Comfortable to operate under ambiguity and changing priorities driven by business and operational realities
  • Operating with owner's and founder's mentality
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, Master's Degree a plus
