About the Job The Analytics Engineer will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines and data models that power business analytics and dashboards. This professional will drive data transformation, modeling, and orchestration initiatives, leveraging BI and data engineering tools to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality data solutions that support strategic decision-making. Acting as a key connection between Data Engineering and Analytics teams, this role will help shape a data-driven culture by enabling efficient and impactful insights across the business. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to collaborate with teams in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain analytical layers focused on business consumption. Translate business needs into scalable and reusable data models. Ensure quality, documentation, and governance of analytical assets. Collaborate with Data Engineers to evolve pipelines and datasets. Build corporate metrics and semantic layers for consumption in Power BI and Metabase. Support Self-Service Analytics initiatives. Participate in the definition and adoption of data catalogs and technical documentation. Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience working as an Analytics Engineer, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or in a similar data-focused role. Experience with dimensional modeling (Star Schema, Data Marts, and Data Warehouses). Strong SQL skills. Experience building analytical datasets for BI purposes. Experience with Power BI, Metabase, or similar tools. Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes. Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions. Knowledge of version control using Git.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with dbt. Experience with ClickHouse. Knowledge of Apache Airflow. Experience with Data Catalogs and Data Governance. Experience with Self-Service BI projects. Knowledge of data quality metrics. Experience with Python for analysis and automation. Familiarity with AI agents for analytical productivity.
