We're looking for a Sales Team Lead who can create clarity, direction, and results in a fast-moving environment. You will lead a team of Sales Specialists, drive commercial performance, make decisions, and help the team stay focused when priorities shift. On a daily basis, you will: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of currently 10 Sales Specialists while fostering a high-performance culture. Coach your team and other customer-facing colleagues across Ventura TRAVEL to continuously improve customer experience and commercial results. Use KPIs, customer insights, operational data, and AI-driven solutions to identify opportunities, solve problems, automate recurring work, and improve team effectiveness. Continuously challenge and improve existing sales processes by identifying inefficiencies, implementing enhancements, and proactively escalating risks and blockers. Translate changing priorities and business initiatives into clear goals, actionable plans, and successful execution. Collaborate closely with peers and senior leadership, share insights and ideas, stay informed about our destinations, and lead by example through hands-on support when needed. The basics you bring along: At least 5 years of experience in Sales, Customer Success, or another customer-facing commercial environment, including previous people leadership experience. A proven ability to develop, motivate, and hold teams accountable while maintaining high engagement and performance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using KPIs, data, and AI tools to improve business outcomes and drive operational excellence. A proactive, improvement-oriented mindset with a passion for experimenting with new tools, challenging the status quo, and turning ideas into practical solutions. Excellent communication skills, confidence in giving direct feedback, and the ability to create clarity and direction in fast-changing environments. Fluency in written and spoken English, availability within CET working hours, and the resilience to stay calm and focused under pressure. You can impress us even more with Experience in the group travel industry. Knowledge of the German and/or French tourism market. Familiarity with digital tools like CRMs or booking platforms.
