MS D365 Principal Consultant

Position Purpose The purpose of the Microsoft D365 Principal Consultant position is to help businesses maximize the value of their Dynamics 365 solutions by delivering expert guidance, leadership, and technical implementation. This role ensures that D365 systems are tailored to meet the unique needs of the organization, driving efficiency, innovation, and business transformation. Specifically, the position is focused on: Providing strategic consulting and thought leadership for adopting D365 solutions. Leading implementation projects to ensure successful delivery and alignment with business objectives. Enhancing business processes through technology integration and optimization. Building lasting relationships with business userds while ensuring they achieve their desired outcomes with D365. The role will play an essential role in defining the future architecture of the system, streamline and digitalise the different processes. The D365 FO and POS Functional Lead will be an integrated part of the team that will roll out the solutions around the different geographies (Asia/Europe/USA) The role is also responsible for · Support D365 FO AND POS application and overcome challenges that could occur · Support the business in their operations: BAU and new change requests · Work across different modules in D365 FO · Configure, rollout, deploy solutions/changes in D365 FO · Upgrade systems, implementation/configuration of new modules/features/objectives in D365 FO · Work on business intelligence analytic reports development and other reports for the business requirements. · Solution design · Business process design · Continuous improvement and business process improvement · Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business · Deliver continuous training · Keep track of improvements made to the platform (by Microsoft) and seeing how these can be leveraged across the business to support our Group and Brand strategies Essential Qualities · Strong functional and technical knowledge in D365 FO and POS (particularly in the areas of Wholesale and Retail Product Distribution). · Strong skills on configuration of D365 FO and POS · Proficient in documentation of functional specifications, training manuals and support related documentation. · Efficient in mapping the process as per D365 FO standards, GAP analysis and provide work around solutions · Strong customer service orientation and work as a team player · Adapt to dynamic environment and a quick learner · Ability to manage tasks and schedules and achieve the milestone · Can do attitude and possess good analytical skills · Exceptional communication and influencing skills with the ability to inspire confidence when dealing with colleagues and customers · A proven desire and ability to keep up with new and emerging technologies · Outcomes focused Qualification & Experience Requirements · At least 15+ years of experience in Dynamics AX, D365 including POS and have done end to end implementations · 7+ years working experience in a relevant Industry or functional area e.g. Online, Retail, Finance or Supply Chain · Preferred bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field · Microsoft Certifications · Fluency in English (speaking, writing) · 15+ years of experience in implementing and consulting on D365 retails and/or SCM. · Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities to design effective solutions. · Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders. · Leadership and mentoring abilities to guide teams effectively. · Project management expertise, with an ability to balance scope, time, and resources. · In-depth knowledge of the Dynamics 365 suite (e.g., Finance, Operations, Customer Engagement). · Proficiency in related Microsoft technologies, like Azure, Power Platform, and SharePoint. · Experience in data migration, integration, and system architecture.
