Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test automation frameworks for web applications,

APIs, and performance testing.

  • Perform functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and release

validation.

  • Develop automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver (v3/v4), TestNG,

and Cucumber (BDD).

  • Conduct API testing and automation using Rest Assured and Postman.
  • Implement performance and load testing using tools such as Gatling/Karate.
  • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Work within Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and

retrospectives.

  • Track and manage defects using Jira, ensuring end-to-end QA ownership.
  • Utilize GenAI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude) to accelerate test

development and code generation. AGENTIC, PROMPT Engineering and SKILLs.

  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to improve software
