  • Lead the division and cultivate a supportive, motivating and collaborative work environment and builds an effective and productive team focused on overall corporate objectives.
  • Ensure projects are properly resourced, managed, and executed and develop verifiable project goals for Associate Directors.
  • Oversee and/or coordinate new project implementation. Work closely with client contact(s) during project implementation and develops working rapport.
  • Maintain a working client relationship with open lines of communication for the life of the project.
  • Work closely with Business Development in the areas of proposals/contracts, client presentations, and maintains client relationships.
  • Oversee salary administration, performance management, conflict resolution, recruiting and mentoring for Associate Directors and other direct reports.
  • Ensure quality objectives are met and oversees audit preparedness, appropriate response to internal and external audits, addressing and correcting audit

findings; responding to client feedback; and development of and compliance with SOP's.

  • Manage overall budget activity for divisional areas(s) to ensure profitability: review billable hour reports for divisional area(s), tracks projects' success in

achieving financial targets; determine the resource needs and ensures correct revenue forecast.

  • Drive a culture of immediate action and proactive escalation

Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience in health care or pharmaceutical industry that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 12+ years).
  • Strong leadership skills include 5+ years of management responsibility.
  • Education may be substituted in lieu of some years of experience for advanced degrees such as Pharm.D, Ph.D. MS and MD.

In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Directs through lower management levels. Has responsibility for managing a function that includes multiple related departments. In some instances, they may be responsible for a functional area (as determined by executive management) and not have subordinate supervisors or employees. May manage employees across multiple regions.
  • Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment
  • Constant interaction with clients/associates required
  • Must pay constant attention to detail-visual, mental
  • Must be able to multi-task constantly
  • Long, varied hours required occasionally
  • Daily exposure to high pressure, intense concentration
  • Occasional drives to site locations, frequent travels both domestic and international

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

  • Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day
  • Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists
  • Moderate mobility required
  • Occasional crouching, stooping, bending and twisting of upper body and neck
  • Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.
  • Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf
  • Ability to communicate complex information and ideas so others will understand, with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
  • Frequently interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups both internally & externally
  • Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues. Requires multiple periods of intense concentration
  • Performs a wide range of complex tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence. Ability to perform under stress. Ability to multi-task
  • Regular and consistent attendance
