Role Overview We are looking for a seasoned Senior BI Analyst to join our growing Data Analytics team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end business intelligence solutions for diverse client projects. You will work closely with data engineers, solution architects, and business stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate is technically strong, comfortable working in US/UK shift hours, passionate about mentoring peers, and capable of managing responsibilities across multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities

BI Development & Reporting Design, develop, and publish interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI (mandatory) and other BI/reporting tools. Build and optimize data models (star/snowflake schema) to support complex analytical use cases. Write advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs aligned to business requirements. Integrate reports with multiple data sources including relational databases, data warehouses, APIs, and flat files. Ensure report performance through query optimization, incremental refresh, and aggregation strategies. Data Engineering & Pipeline Exposure Work hands-on within end-to-end data Engineering project lifecycle — ingestion, transformation, modelling, and visualization. Collaborate with data engineers on pipeline design using tools such as Azure Data Factory, dbt, Databricks, or equivalent. Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, profiling, cleansing, and validation across large datasets. Understand and contribute to data warehouse/lake architecture decisions as a BI stakeholder. Engineering Strategy & Measurement Frameworks Lead client discussions to define KPIs, measurement frameworks, event structures, and success metrics aligned with business objectives. Design event-driven measurement models, tagging architectures, and data-layer specifications. Drive strategy for user behavior tracking, conversion optimization, funnel measurement, cohort analysis, and customer journey Engineering. Privacy-Conscious & Healthcare-Friendly Engineering Implement HIPAA-compliant and privacy-aware Engineering solutions. Work with consent management platforms like OneTrust, Cookiebot, Termly, Freshpaint, Piwik PRO to ensure compliant tracking and data governance. Support server-side tagging implementations and secure data collection practices. Technical Troubleshooting & Data Integrity Troubleshoot data discrepancies, broken pipelines, tagging issues, and tracking inconsistencies across web/app ecosystems. Validate data between GTM/Tealium/Piwik PRO, Engineering platforms (GA4, Adobe, Amplitude), CRM systems, and BI reporting layers. Stakeholder & Client Engagement Gather and translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions for client projects. Present dashboards and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Manage expectations and communicate delivery timelines effectively across multiple simultaneous projects. Provide user training, best practices, and business intelligence support to stakeholders. Work in US/UK shift alignments to collaborate with global client teams and ensure timely delivery. Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing Actively mentor and upskill junior and mid-level BI analysts within the team. Review dashboards and data models developed by juniors, providing structured feedback. Contribute to internal knowledge repositories, best practices documentation, and BI standards. Participate in team skill-building initiatives, demos, and internal training sessions. Required Skills & Qualifications Primary BI Skills (Must-Have) Advanced Power BI — Required Expert-level DAX, Power Query (M), row-level security, composite models Experience with Power BI Service — workspaces, deployment pipelines, gateways Dataflows, paginated reports (Power BI Report Builder) are a plus Proficiency in at least one additional BI/reporting tool, such as: Tableau, Looker, SSRS, MicroStrategy, Qlik Sense, or Amazon QuickSight Knowledge of Engineering platforms (GA4, Adobe, Amplitude) and tag management tools (GTM, Tealium, Piwik PRO). Understanding of event-driven Engineering, data layers, and measurement frameworks. Awareness of HIPAA/privacy-compliant Engineering and consent management tools (OneTrust, Cookiebot, etc.). Data & Engineering Skills (Mandatory) Strong SQL — complex joins, window functions, CTEs, stored procedures, query performance tuning Strong data modelling — dimensional modelling, fact/dimension tables, schema design Working knowledge of data pipeline tools (ADF, dbt, Spark, Databricks, or equivalent) Exposure to cloud platforms — Azure, AWS, or GCP — from a BI/data consumption perspective Familiarity with data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, or Redshift Certifications (Mandatory, any from below) Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) Microsoft Certified: Fabric Engineering Engineer Associate (DP-600) Any equivalent BI/Engineering certification (Tableau Desktop Specialist, AWS Engineering, Google Cloud Data Analyst, etc.) Soft Skills & Work Preferences Willingness and ability to work in US/UK shift timings on need basis Ability to manage and deliver across multiple client projects simultaneously Strong communication skills — verbal and written — to interact with global stakeholders Demonstrated ability to mentor juniors and contribute to team capability building Self-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning Ability to multi-task and learn other tools/tech as required Why Join Us: Young Team, Thriving Culture Flat-hierarchical, friendly, engineering-oriented, and growth-focused culture.
