Remote | UK-Based Management Consulting Expert — $130–$190/hour

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for UK-based management consulting professionals experienced in strategy, due diligence, transformation, problem structuring, hypothesis development, case analysis, executive communication, consulting-style presentations, and strategic recommendation development. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on realistic consulting engagement scenario design, strategic reasoning review, case analysis evaluation, executive communication assessment, rubric-based feedback, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will help create, review, and simulate consulting scenarios that reflect how modern strategy and advisory engagements are structured and delivered.

Key Responsibilities

Professionals in this role may contribute to: Consulting Scenario Design

• Create realistic consulting engagement scenarios involving strategy, due diligence, transformation, market analysis, case analysis, and executive communication
• Develop scenario materials that test problem structuring, hypothesis development, analytical sequencing, synthesis, and recommendation quality
• Simulate consulting workflows involving senior-led teams, engagement leads, consultants, and analysts
• Ensure scenarios are commercially realistic, well-structured, and appropriate for structured evaluation

Strategic Reasoning & Case Review

• Review outputs involving market sizing, strategic diagnosis, due diligence reasoning, transformation planning, or executive recommendations
• Assess whether responses demonstrate strong consulting judgment, analytical rigor, synthesis, prioritization, and clear communication
• Identify weak hypotheses, unsupported recommendations, incomplete issue trees, unclear logic, or impractical conclusions
• Apply practitioner-level judgment to evaluate consulting-style analysis and deliverables

Rubric-Based Evaluation & Feedback

• Create and review high-quality consulting evaluation materials
• Apply structured rubrics and project-specific criteria to assess strategic reasoning and communication quality
• Provide clear written feedback explaining analytical strengths, weaknesses, and improvement areas
• Maintain consistency, accuracy, and professional judgment across submitted consulting review work

Ideal Profile Strong candidates may have:

• Current location in the United Kingdom
• Experience as a consultant, senior consultant, engagement manager, project leader, principal, associate partner, partner, managing director, or comparable consulting professional
• Strong strategy consulting experience from leading consulting firms or comparable high-caliber advisory environments
• Experience across strategy, commercial due diligence, transformation, market analysis, growth strategy, executive communication, or strategic recommendations
• Strong understanding of how modern consulting engagements are structured across senior leaders, engagement leads, consultants, and analysts
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to explain strategic reasoning clearly
• High attention to detail and strong analytical judgment
• Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment

Educational Background

• Academic backgrounds in business, economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, public policy, science, technology, or related fields may be relevant
• MBA, advanced degree, or equivalent consulting experience may be especially valuable depending on project scope
• Professional experience in top-tier consulting, strategy advisory, corporate strategy, transaction advisory, or executive-level strategic work is highly relevant

Nice to Have

• Experience with private equity due diligence, growth strategy, market entry, pricing, transformation, corporate strategy, or board-level recommendations
• Experience preparing or reviewing executive presentations, consulting deliverables, case materials, strategic memos, or analytical workplans
• Experience leading consultant and analyst teams through structured problem solving
• Ability to evaluate both strategic logic and communication quality
• Availability for approximately 40 hours per week depending on project scope
