Triage Nurse Supervisor - Remote
About the Role: The Triage Nurse Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the triage nursing team to ensure timely, accurate, and compassionate patient assessment and care coordination in a remote setting. This position is responsible for managing daily operations, providing clinical guidance, and supporting nurses in delivering high-quality telephonic and virtual triage services. The supervisor will collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to optimize patient flow and resource allocation while maintaining compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards. Minimum Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States. (qualification may be satisfied by an experienced LPN with a minimum of 5 years experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in triage or telehealth nursing.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a nursing or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of clinical triage protocols, patient assessment, and telehealth technologies.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and remote communication tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or higher.
- Certification in Telephone or Telehealth Nursing (e.g., CTN or CPHQ).
- Experience working in a remote or virtual healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies and regulatory compliance standards such as HIPAA.
- Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution, team building, and change management.
Responsibilities:
