Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of automotive software systems, ensuring adherence to quality and performance standards. Architect and implement software solutions for in-vehicle infotainment, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and connected car features. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, product managers, and quality assurance, to define software requirements and specifications. Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Develop and maintain software documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, and user guides. Optimize software performance, reliability, and security for automotive applications. Stay abreast of emerging automotive technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in automotive software development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and Java. Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems development. Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet). Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and tools (Git, JIRA). Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams effectively. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and AI/ML concepts is a plus.
