Position Overview

The Remote Contact Center Chat Representative is the digital front line for arenaflex members. You will handle inquiries across multiple channels—chat, messaging, email, and occasional phone calls—delivering fast, accurate, and courteous solutions. From answering questions about debit cards and dispute resolution to guiding members through account opening and cross‑selling arenaflex products, you will be the trusted advisor who ensures every interaction ends with a satisfied member.

Key Responsibilities

  • Member Interaction: Respond promptly to member inquiries via chat, web messaging, email, and text, providing clear, solution‑focused assistance.
  • Transaction Support: Assist members with routine banking tasks such as deposits, transfers, bill pay, mobile deposits, and account balance inquiries.
  • Product Knowledge: Serve as a subject‑matter expert on arenaflex’s digital suite—including Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Bill Pay, External Transfers, and Online Account Opening.
  • Cross‑Selling & Upselling: Identify opportunities to introduce members to arenaflex’s broader product portfolio, including savings accounts, loans, and specialty services, while maintaining a consultative approach.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex member concerns, such as NSF fees, disputed transactions, and account discrepancies, escalating to senior staff when necessary.
  • Compliance & Security: Follow arenaflex’s security protocols, ensuring all member data is handled confidentially and in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Documentation: Accurately log all interactions in the CRM system, capturing key details to support future member service and analytics.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up‑to‑date with new product releases, system enhancements, and industry best practices through ongoing training and knowledge‑share sessions.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
  • Minimum of 1 year proven experience in a customer‑service or member‑service role, preferably within a financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and grammatically correct communications—strong written communication skills are a must.
