Position Overview – Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative

This full‑time, remote role is designed for compassionate, detail‑oriented professionals who thrive on helping patients understand and manage their medical bills. You will act as an extended business office representative for our healthcare clients, guiding patients through billing statements, answering questions, and arranging affordable payment solutions. The role offers a stable 40‑hour work week, Monday‑through‑Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm MST, with a mandatory one‑day orientation for Colorado‑based candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize empathy, active listening, and clear communication to explain complex medical billing statements to patients and their families.
  • Assist callers in setting up affordable payment plans, processing payments over the phone, and providing billing options that align with their financial situations.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all interactions, ensuring accurate documentation in our proprietary software and follow‑up systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold high attendance standards, a strong work ethic, and a supportive, patient‑first environment.
  • Participate in ongoing coaching sessions, performance feedback, and continuous training to refine skills and stay current with industry best practices.

Essential Qualifications
