Position Summary

The Part Time Data Entry Clerk – Administrative Operations Support Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions at arenaflex. This position is responsible for accurate data entry, meticulous recordkeeping, document preparation, and general clerical support across multiple departments. Working between 16 and 25 hours per week, this role is perfect for someone seeking meaningful part-time work with flexibility, while still being deeply integrated into the operational fabric of the company.

Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of the arenaflex administrative team, your primary duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Data Entry and Record Management: Accurately enter, update, and maintain data across various company systems, including accounts payable records, purchase orders, equipment inventory logs, and confidential employee and departmental files. Attention to detail and data integrity are paramount in this function.
  • Document Preparation: Copy, collate, and prepare reports and other documents for distribution, mailings, meetings, and internal/external correspondence. Ensure all materials are professional, accurate, and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Filing and Organization: Maintain both digital and physical filing systems in an organized and accessible manner, ensuring that records are easy to retrieve and that all documentation complies with arenaflex’s internal standards and protocols.
  • General Administrative Support: Provide clerical assistance to various departments as needed, including basic office tasks, data verification, and support for special projects or initiatives.
  • Problem Identification and Resolution: Proactively identify discrepancies or issues within data sets and workflows, and work independently to resolve them or escalate to the appropriate team member.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive employee, customer, and business information with the highest degree of discretion and professionalism at all times.
  • Other Related Duties: Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support the smooth operation of the business.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role at arenaflex, candidates must demonstrate the following:

  • Typing Proficiency: Ability to type at least 50 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proofreading Skills: Strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation, with the ability to proofread documents for errors and inconsistencies.
