As a Part‑Time Remote Data Entry & Marketing Analyst , you will be a critical link between our data‑rich operations and strategic marketing initiatives. Your work will directly influence sales performance, promotional effectiveness, and the overall profitability of careerzynith’s product categories.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Profit Contribution: Support the achievement of sales and margin targets within assigned categories by ensuring data integrity and providing actionable insights. Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract, clean, and analyze large data sets from internal systems (e.g., inventory, sales, and pricing databases) to produce clear, concise reports for senior leadership. Category Planning Support: Assist in the development of category plans, including optimal SKU assortments, promotional calendars, and special project initiatives. Execution of Daily Merchandising Activities: Monitor plan‑ogram compliance, track limited‑time offers, and conduct real‑time analysis to recommend corrective actions when performance deviates from expectations. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal experts in merchandising, forecasting, finance, store operations, marketing, and store design to align data‑driven recommendations with business objectives. Inventory & Sales Trend Analysis: Break down sales trends and inventory levels to identify opportunities for stock optimization and reduction of out‑of‑stock situations. Competitive Intelligence: Maintain a competitive landscape database, uncover emerging market opportunities, and propose strategic responses. Market Research: Conduct research on consumer product preferences, pricing dynamics, and broader industry trends to inform category strategies. Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest process enhancements, automation opportunities, and best‑practice methodologies to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with retail mathematics concepts (e.g., gross margin, sell‑through, inventory turnover) and a proven ability to apply them in a practical setting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—particularly Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and basic macros), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with data‑entry platforms or database tools such as Access, SQL, or similar systems is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a remote work environment.

Preferred Experience & Skills
