About the Role
As a Customer Sales Executive at arenaflex, you will be the friendly, knowledgeable voice that our customers come to trust. You will engage with both new and existing customers, providing warm, needs-based consultations that help them select the most appropriate personal alarm and lifestyle solution for their circumstances. This is not a cold-calling role — every conversation begins with an existing relationship, an inbound enquiry, or a qualified lead, allowing you to focus on what truly matters: listening, advising, and delivering value.
You will play an instrumental part in driving customer satisfaction, brand advocacy, and commercial performance. Working remotely from the comfort of your own home, you will manage inbound enquiries, conduct outbound follow-up calls, and build lasting relationships that contribute directly to arenaflex's continued growth and reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and converting inbound sales calls from prospective and existing customers, guiding each caller through a structured, empathetic needs-based assessment to identify the right solution for them.
- Acting as a product expert and brand ambassador for arenaflex, confidently explaining features, benefits, and service options while signposting customers to their personalised sales solutions.
- Meeting and exceeding personal and team sales targets through proactive engagement, quality conversations, and a customer-first approach.
- Upselling additional products and services where appropriate, identifying opportunities to enhance the customer's experience and provide greater peace of mind.
- Managing existing customer relationships, conducting service reviews, addressing queries, and ensuring continued satisfaction and loyalty.
- Making outbound follow-up calls to warm leads and lapsed customers, rekindling conversations and exploring renewed requirements.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across the wider business to ensure smooth customer journeys, accurate information, and consistent service delivery.
- Maintaining accurate records within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring data quality and full compliance with internal processes.
- Being a positive role model within the team, embodying the five core values of arenaflex and contributing to a supportive, high-performing culture.
- Continuously identifying opportunities to improve the customer journey, sharing insights and innovative ideas with management and colleagues.
Hours, Shift Patterns, and Contract Details
This is a permanent part-time position offering either 15 or 17 hours per week, fully remote. We offer flexibility through three shift pattern options, allowing you to select the schedule that best fits your lifestyle:
Option 1 — 17 hours per week
- Wednesday: 14:30 – 19:30
- Friday: 09:00 – 15:00
- Saturday: 09:30 – 15:30
Option 2 — 17 hours per week
- Monday: 11:00 – 19:30
- Thursday: 09:00 – 14:00
- Friday: 09:00 – 13:30
Option 3 — 15 hours per week
- Monday: 17:00 – 19:30
- Tuesday: 10:00 – 15:30
- Wednesday: 11:30 – 14:30
- Thursday: 15:30 – 19:30
You will be required to complete two weeks of full-time training, Monday to Friday, 09:30 – 16:30, prior to commencing your regular shift pattern. Training will be fully remote and paid, providing you with comprehensive product knowledge, systems training, and the tools to succeed in your role.
Salary and Performance Rewards
- 17 hours per week: £10,201.36 per annum (£11.54 per hour), plus Performance Related Pay (PRP) of up to 40%
- 15 hours per week: £9,001.20 per annum (£11.54 per hour), plus Performance Related Pay (PRP) of up to 40%

Essential Requirements
- A genuine desire to help people and make a positive difference in customers' lives.
- Empathy, patience, and excellent active listening skills.
- Previous experience in a telephone-based sales role, ideally within a remote working environment.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong rapport-building abilities and outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- A good level of education (GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths).
- A reliable, high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 5 Mbps upload and 15 Mbps download speed.
- A quiet, professional home working environment free from distractions.
- Confidence using CRM systems and standard office software (full training will be provided on arenaflex's specific platforms).
Preferred (Desirable) Experience
- Prior experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Experience in needs-based consultative selling rather than hard-sell techniques.
- Background in the telecare, personal alarm, healthcare, insurance, or service-based sales sectors.
- Familiarity with working in regulated or quality-controlled contact centre environments.
