Role Overview You will play a pivotal role in creating a learning environment that fosters an active love of God and inspires students to deepen their knowledge of theology. Your responsibilities will include: Teaching five sections with a focus on delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons. Implementing a standards-based curriculum with a strong emphasis on Catholic theology and critical analysis of Catholic teaching. Collaborating with department members to evaluate, monitor, and update curriculum, ensuring alignment with our school's mission and values. Integrating technology to enhance learning experiences and staying abreast of new trends and developments in instructional strategies and assessment. Key Qualifications We are seeking candidates who possess: A passion for teaching theology at the secondary level and working with high school students. A minimum of a bachelor's degree, with a preference for candidates holding a bachelor's and/or master's degree in theology or a related discipline. Prior teaching experience, ideally in a Catholic educational setting. Adaptability to deliver instruction in various formats, including on-campus, remote learning, or hybrid models.
