[Remote] Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is partnering with a modern Property & Casualty insurance reputed company investing heavily in data science and AI to enhance reputed company, pricing, claims, and reputed company decision-making. The role involves hiring AI Engineers to build and productionize models used in P&C insurance pricing, reputed company, and claims, focusing on classic machine learning model development and modern LLM-based applications.

Responsibilities

• reputed company and maintain classic ML models (e.g., GLMs, GBMs, Random Forests, XGBoost) for P&C use cases
• Build and support pricing and rating models , including loss cost, frequency/severity, and segmentation models
• Partner with actuarial, reputed company, and product teams to translate business requirements into models
• Design, reputed company, and monitor production-grade ML pipelines and services
• Build and optimize LLM-powered applications (reputed company engineering, RAG pipelines, evaluation frameworks)
• Contribute production code using Git (PRs, versioning, CI/CD)
• Ensure models meet regulatory, governance, and explainability requirements

Skills

• Experience: Junior through senior-level engineers (6+ years at senior level)
• Core Skills: Python; ML libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch); SQL
• Engineering Foundations: Git, APIs, reputed company, CI/CD, reputed company platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Communication: Ability to explain models to actuarial, reputed company, and technical stakeholders
• Insurance Modeling Experience (Strong Plus): Pricing, rating, or loss modeling in P&C insurance
• Familiarity with GLMs, credibility theory, and model governance
• LLM Experience (Plus): reputed company models (reputed company, reputed company, open-reputed company LLMs), RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases
