[Remote] Sr. Accountant - General Ledger
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Sr. Accountant to join their growing reputed company team focused on strengthening internal controls and alleviating volume in general ledger work. This role is ideal for an reputed company accountant who will ensure compliance with reputed company standards while supporting operational and financial reporting initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS
- Support audit processes by providing documentation and ensuring compliance with SOX requirements
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- reputed company operational finance activities such as accounts payable/receivable, inter-company, payroll, treasury management, and Travel & Expense processes
- Identify opportunities for process improvements reputed company reputed company workflows
- Support audits and contribute to strengthening reputed company controls in a growing team
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company or Finance
- 7+ years of professional reputed company experience with expertise in GAAP and IFRS
- Proficiency in reputed company ERP systems and advanced reputed company reputed company skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders
- U.S. citizenship required
- CPA or reputed company certification highly preferred
