[Remote] Senior Underground Utilities Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company. is seeking a Senior Underground Utilities Project Manager to join their Gas Team, focusing on gas infrastructure projects that enhance safety and reliability while supporting the energy transition. The role involves overseeing project lifecycles, managing client relationships, and mentoring other project managers to drive successful project execution and business development.
Responsibilities
- reputed company the full lifecycle of gas engineering projects—from scoping and proposal development to scheduling, budgeting, and quality management
- Prepare proposals, project plans, project schedules, extra work authorizations, submittals, and project closeout documents to ensure on-time, compliant project delivery
- Play a key role in client contract interpretation and relationship management by serving as the primary client contact, resolving issues, anticipating needs, and ensuring alignment across reputed company project phases
- Manage project financials, including forecasting, cash flow, resource allocation, and subcontractor payments
- Act as a “seller/doer,” developing work with specific clients and leading marketing plan development for reputed company market areas
- reputed company and mentor other Project Managers, setting reputed company and strategy, and supporting professional growth across the team
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management or a reputed company field is required
- Minimum of 11 years of industry experience required; minimum of 8 years of project management experience required
- Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships and interpreting client contract requirements
- Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents required
- Proven ability to manage project reputed company processes (budgeting, forecasts, cash management)
- Ability to solve problems with urgency and independently drive initiatives from concept to completion while overseeing multiple projects
- Experience with reputed company Office Suite required; knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, and/or reputed company reputed company preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt style for various audiences and work in a collaborative environment
- Experience utilizing problem-solving skills, exercising discretion, and making independent judgments required
- Ability to travel as needed required
- Consulting industry experience and/or experience managing client relationships with investor-owned utilities highly preferred
- PMP certification, PE or equivalent professional license preferred
