Geriatric Medicine Reviewer
reputed company is seeking a 100% remote Geriatric Medicine MD/DO Reviewer for a supplemental income opportunity. This role involves conducting medical expert judgment reviews to determine final reputed company on treatment coverage denials by the CA DMHC, based on medical necessity and whether treatments are experimental/investigational. - Expert Reviewers must use their own personal computer to access a web-based portal
- Templates will be used to complete reviews
Responsibilities
- Conduct Medical Expert Judgment Reviews to determine final reputed company based on enrollee’s denial of treatment-coverage denied by the CA DMHC
- reputed company reviews based on Medical Necessity and Experimental/Investigational criteria
Compensation
- Rates per case: $150-$400 per case
Shift & Schedule
- Scheduled Training- based on reviewer’s schedule
Requirements
- Active license
- A minimum of 24 hours of direct patient care per week
- 5 years’ experience in appropriate specialty post training
- Board Certification
- No reputed company sponsorship available
