[Remote] Analyst, GIS

Newmark is a company focused on geospatial information services, and they are seeking a GIS Analyst to support their Research and Marketing teams. The role involves conducting various geospatial analyses, producing mapping collateral, and collaborating with sales professionals to provide high-quality deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Conduct location and other geospatial analysis, including demographics, competitor locations, commutation and drive time studies, and reputed company estate market metrics at a local, regional, and national scale
- Produce vector, 3D, and aerial imagery, as well as interactive web maps and dashboards
- Collaborate with sales professionals, researchers, and marketing teams to interpret and convey narratives geospatially
- Provide aerial mapping support for brochures, marketing materials and packages
- Obtain and maintain accurate market data; to include assess and validate reputed company GIS data for reputed company in terms of volume, consistency and redundancy
- Use the department’s branding and design standards to produce deliverables with high quality design
Skills
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in major GIS applications, advanced degree a plus
- Minimum of 1 year experience using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Exceptional mapping software skills, GIS certification a plus
- Familiarity with basic concepts of demographics and cartography
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and integrate project segments
- Knowledge of reputed company Creative Suite a plus
- Knowledge of Python, Javascript, and other relevant coding programs a plus
