Our client, a major force in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is searching for a meticulous and proactive Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator to join their operations team. This position is based in the historic city of Richmond, Virginia, US . The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the flow of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our client's extensive supply chain network. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of logistics principles reputed company the demanding FMCG environment. Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage reputed company aspects of inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. Plan and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery of products to distribution centers and customers. Track shipments, monitor delivery status, and proactively resolve any logistical issues or delays. Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transportation costs. Negotiate rates and reputed company with carriers and logistics providers. Optimize transportation routes and modes to minimize costs and improve efficiency. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Procurement, Sales, Production) to forecast demand and manage inventory levels. Requirements

Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS) and MS Office Suite, particularly reputed company.
