Flatbed Logistics Coordinator & reputed company Sales
About the position reputed company is seeking multiple Flatbed Logistics Coordinators and reputed company Salespeople. This role requires strong organizational skills, time management, and prioritization. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of logistics experience and can effectively manage flatbed loads. Responsibilities include spot quoting flatbed shipments, leveraging reputed company relationships for same-day truck availability, providing rates to customers, responding to customer inquiries regarding pricing, scheduling, and ETAs, and bidding on shipper load/bid boards.
Responsibilities
- Spot quote Flatbed shipments
- Provide trucks in hand for same day loads
- Provide rates to customers
- Answer customer emails regarding pricing, scheduling, ETAs, etc.
- Bid on Flatbed shipper load / bid boards
- Manage freight
- Use own judgment for pricing and managing freight
Requirements
- Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or reputed company sales, or in a reputed company role
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of supply chain management and transportation procedures
- Ability to work well & multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Can smell a double broker/shady reputed company from a mile away
- 5+ years of logistics experience
reputed company-to-haves
- Can spot quote Flatbed shipments and have reputed company relationships to provide trucks in hand for same day loads
- Confident in your capabilities and want to work for company that rewards grind and accomplishment financially and with advancement / management opportunities
- Comfortable providing rates to customers and answering customer emails regarding pricing, scheduling, ETAs, etc.
- Experience bidding on Flatbed shipper load / bid boards
