We partner with over 200 airlines and are now seeking an additional Airline Inside Sales and Reservations & Ticketing Agent to join our US team. Our Airline Inside Sales and Reservations & Ticketing Agents are responsible for providing excellent customer care to passengers of our client airlines and to travel partners in the US both via 'phone and email. Key prerequisites for the role include at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role with an airline, the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, and to have a strong knowledge of at least one airline GDS. Key Responsibilities: - Answer all emails and calls of US agencies, trade partners and sales team related to issues of the airline and be proactive to find the answers within the company. - Making airline bookings and issuing airline tickets (auto & manual fare-build) - Processing payments of... airline tickets and adhering to strict reporting guidelines - Providing excellent customer service both on the telephone, face-to-face and via email - Dealing with ticket reissues, upgrades, reroutes and lost tickets - Dealing with groups and allocations in line with airline client procedures - Provide support for all operational routines and deliver reports to management related to trade partners, goals, reports, etc. - Research accounts, identify key players and generate lead - Keep the CRM and agencies/client’s data updated - Educate and inform agents about APG USA Portfolio - Lead generation through cold calls - Assists Sales Management by generating sales report from BI TOOL, upgrading existing or new accounts in our internal CRM - Analysis, benchmarking, identification of opportunities from data - Support the Sales team with product education (Virtual or physical) - Marketing support: Working with marketing in HQ on initiatives or promoting trade partners Further details The position is reporting to our office in New York or MIA. The role is varied, the right candidate should have an airline or agency background, be able to issue tickets on Amadeus and assist the Sales team with sales and marketing activities. It is mainly an office-based position but there will also be opportunities to travel overseas and also to assist at various shows and presentations in the tri-state area and the rest of the USA.
