Python Engineer (AI / ML Technologies)
Focus Capital is supporting its health technology division by introducing rockstar Software Engineer with prior experience working in Machine Learning, AI and Data Science technologies. In this role, you will directly work with and support some of the top data scientists and machine learning engineers to prototype and build end-to-end code and full-scale applications that leverage ML tools in their deployment. You will develop new tools and software to support the business in harnessing their data and analytics capabilities, including the deployment of new machine learning models. This is a chance to apply new and emerging concepts in data science, ML and AI, such as Gen AI / LLM, to innovative applications utilized within a Fortune 500 company. The terms 'data analytics' and 'data science' are thrown around a lot; but this is a chance to use analytics and data science to make money for a close-knit Fortune 500 division. This is an opportunity to work in a highly-innovative data... science and analytics culture that is fully supported by a multi-billion dollar business and will afford you the ability to work on new analytics and data science products that are mostly covered with yellow-tape in other organizations. This role can be fully-remote or hybrid from the NY/NJ area. Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, using Python technologies Prior professional experience working with machine learning engineers and data scientists Full stack web development experience is required (i.e. Django web app development) Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React and TypeScript Professional experience with Spark and/or PySpark Prior experience with Gen AI tools such as GPT or BERT is a plus. Experience building data pipelines to deploy AI models. Experience in an Azure ecosystem is a plus. Experience with Tableau data visualization.
