Key Responsibilities: • Design and Analysis: Independently complete the structural design of transmission lines up to 420 kV. • Design transmission line towers (lattice, tubular steel, monopoles) for different voltages. • Perform structural analysis using design software (e.g., PLS-TOWER, PLS-CADD). • Account for various loads like wind and ice. • Ensure designs follow industry standards and regulations. • Stay updated on relevant design codes (e.g., ASCE, NESC). • Create design calculations, drawings, and specifications. • Work with drafting teams to produce construction drawings. • Provide technical support during project execution. • Assist with project schedules, cost estimates, and material specifications. • Work with other engineers and teams to ensure integrated design solutions. • Participate in design review meetings. Special Skills/Experience/Training • Education: Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. • Experience in transmission line tower design or similar roles. • Experience in PLS TOWER and transmission line engineering • Proficiency in design software (e.g., PLS-TOWER, SAP2000). • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Good communication skills Apply Job!
